Did you know that new United States citizens must pass a test on the rights and responsibilities of a US Citizen? And that they must also take an Oath of Allegiance to the United States, in which they promise to defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic?
Children who are born in the United States do not have to pass a test or take the Oath of Allegiance to become a citizen; but they are still subject to the same obligations once they reach age 18.
So we say again: Future citizens of the United States, Know Your Rights, Know Your Responsibilities!
