Come celebrate the best of Minnesota high school theater at Spotlight Showcase ! Over 1,600 students will participate in the awards and recognition event, presented by Hennepin Theatre Trust’s Spotlight Education program.
The work presented here is by the students enrolled in the Spring 2023 capstone class of Minneapolis College’s Photography and Motion program – Portfolio Development and Presentation. Students in Minneapolis College’s Photography and Motion Program utilize the latest in equipment and software to keep pace with professional industry requirements.
The area west of the Hennepin Avenue Bridge where Hennepin and Nicollet avenues converge has always been a historic cornerstone of the City of Minneapolis and the gateway to the Hennepin Theatre District. Today, it is home to one of the newest contemporary skyscrapers in downtown, named the RBC Gateway in recognition of the legacy it continues. The 37-story building houses the city’s only five-star hotel, the Four Seasons Hotel Minneapolis.
