In January 2020, after 2 years of saving and planning, we said goodbye to Oakland and set off on our 18 month worldwide trip. After 3 incredible months eating our way through Mexico and Nicaragua, we landed in Uruguay in March……the day before the borders closed. We decided to stay put “until things blew over”.
