451 Editions provides a forum for writers to publish new editions of their work, or to publish select new work, availing of both traditional and digital methods.
The name originates with one of the greatest books about books: Fahrenheit 451 , and takes inspiration from Ray Bradbury’s seminal characters seeking to safeguard the printed volume and keep books alive, whatever their format. Thus whether in paperback or eBook format, our books may always be available to the broadest readership possible.
We launched our first title in May, 2016 with Memory and Desire by Val Mulkerns, followed by WexFour , with Colm Tóibín, John Banville, Billy Roche and Eoin Colfer. Since then our titles include the 25th anniversary edition of Mary O’Donnell’s The Light Makers , and brand new editions of Martin Malone’s novel, After Kafra, John Dillon’s debut novel The Scent of Eucalyptus , Ferdia Mac Anna’s Cartoon City, Ferenji by Helena Mulkerns and Underwater by New York author Joan Hawkins.
