I bought $15 USD of bitcoin (BTC) every month for a year, from May 2021 - April 2022, as a long-term investment, similar to how I used to put money into my 401k and IRA. I don't care about volatility because I'm hodling (not selling) for the next 4-8 years (2026, 2030) with the belief bitcoin will gain 10x (estimated) value after every 4 year cycle, due to bitcoin's inherent scarcity.
I believe purchasing bitcoin is the best investment to create an emergency medical fund / retirement plan / home downpayment / college fund / Disneyworld vacation / whatever-you-want-a-pile-of-money-for if you have at least a 4 year (or even better 8+ year) timeline. See the FAQ for reasons.
