Unfortunately the original Scottish publishers, Mainstream, were bought over by Random House who decided not to continue the proposed publication of part two of a very successful book. Thus Prolonging the Agony was published in the USA thanks to Trine Day and was translated into German by Kopp Verlag and French by Editions NouvellesTerre.
