Women have not been well appreciated for their work in music and other areas of art. The beautiful compositions by Agathe Backer Grøndahl, Amy Beach, Mel Bonis, Lili Boulanger, Teresa Carreño, Cécile Cheminade, Louise Farrenc, Fanny Mendelssohn-Hensel , Clara Schumann, Germaine Tailleferre, and many others are hardly ever appreciated despite of their beautiful melodies. Concerts with this lovely music would be an enchanting endeavor in Switzerland.
