Creating a unified Australian network of women working in academia, government and industy in Earth and Environmental Sciences.
The idea for WOMEESA was born at the Inaugral Dorothy Hill Women in Earth Sciences Symposium (Nov 2017) identifying a need to bring together women in Earth and Environmental Sciences throughout Australasia. The network was officially launched on International Women’s Day, March 8 2018.
