Thank you for visiting our website! This is a family history and genealogy website which traces the lives of our ancestors and some of their descendants. My Father was a WHEELER (Scots-Irish) and my Mother was a KOUKAL (my Czech Family). Before they were married, my Grandmothers' surnames were REESE (my Welsh line) and HETHERINGTON (Irish). In my meandering through research work done by others, it seems there is usually one individual who has taken it upon him- or herself to search out and tell the story of the family's ancestors. As in my case, one often encounters distant, and not so distant, cousins who have much to contribute to the storytelling. To them, I owe a deep sense of gratitude, for without their interest and contributions, my efforts would fall far short of my expectations. This is truly a family project!
Along the way, we will feature stories about our beloved ancestors, about some famous and infamous ancestors, about distant cousins of distinction or notoriety. There will be articles about interesting locales and events that play prominent roles in the story of who we are as individuals.
