We live, work, and volunteer as uninvited guests in the traditional territory of the Songhees, Esquimalt, and W̱sáneć Nations. To the Lekwungen Peoples, who are our leaders, neighbours, and fellow volunteers, Volunteer Victoria offers gratitude and respect.

We acknowledge that our work is not possible without the generations of Indigenous, First Nations, and Metis peoples who came before us and who continue on the path towards truth and reconciliation. Volunteer Victoria works to hold brave space where everyone feels welcomed, included, respected, and heard.
