On October 20, 2022, Voices for Children and event chairs Hanna and Mark Gleiberman welcomed more than 500 guests to The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park for Starry Starry Night, the signature event of Voices for Children (VFC). This spectacular evening under the stars supports children living in foster care and the life-changing advocacy of Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) volunteers.
Emceed by CBS 8 anchor Marcella Lee, Starry Starry Night 2022 included a cocktail reception, inspiring performances by the San Diego Children’s Choir and Mainly Mozart Youth Orchestra, a compelling program with moving impact stories, an exquisite dining experience, an irresistible live auction, the opportunity to Fund-a-CASA, and dancing under the stars. In the end, the event raised more than $1.85 million to support children in San Diego County foster care through VFC's CASA program.
