The Vine Cottage Inn was built in Bath County in 1900 and began accepting guests in 1905, when horse and buggy was the main mode of transportation to Hot Springs, Virginia. Back then, tourists could leisurely sit on her stately front porch, sip a beverage and watch history happen.
