Description: VCP & Me is a website I created to raise awareness of Valosin Containing Protein (VCP) Disease. VCP is an ultra-rare genetic disease that has changed my life and the lives of so many others. The VCP/p97 gene mutation (VCP Disease) is often mis-diagnosed so many people have it and do not know it. A person may be mis-diagnosed with ALS, MS or LGMD. A genetic test with a full gene mutation panel is the only way to properly diagnose this disease.
