From 2020-2023, Indigenous youth and artists from @1860 Winipeg Arts embraced the spirit of kindness by connecting with numerous people, projects, and communities. Our program’s activities were intentionally designed and aligned with the Unite Kindness initiative launched by Global Dignity on October 22, 2020. We are proud to have contributed to promoting dignity, respect, and unity through our efforts to create positive change in our communities.
As children and young people all over the world continue to deal with the impact of the global pandemic, it is more important than ever for them to know they have the power to be kind, to express themselves creatively, and to feel a sense of physical and emotional wellbeing.
Kind to themselves through art and creativity, or by taking care of their physical and emotional wellbeing. Kind to others through simple acts of kindness for family, friends or neighbors.
