The TrainBJJinRio team is made up of long-term residents of Rio de Janeiro. We are writers, photographers and film makers, and we are ALL jiu-jitsu practitioners. We’ve drawn upon our years of experience of everything this city has to offer to bring you this guide.
Our Mission We believe everybody who practises BJJ should visit Rio to train jiu-jitsu at least once, and we want to help people achieve this dream by lifting the lid on what life (and jiu-jitsu) is really like here.
Our goal is to build a community of people made up of prospective visitors, people who have already been to Rio and even jiu-jitsu practitioners here right now!
