Fahim Tajwar

Hi. I’m Tom. I’m 25, and a recent Stanford grad, where I studied the mathematics of computation. I currently work as the 8th employee (of 10) at a robotics simulation startup called ReSim. My other full time job is dragging people I like to live music with me.
In my time at Stanford, I was a teaching assistant for CS 229 (Machine Learning), as well as CS 154, 254, and 254B (the Complexity Theory track). I was also very lucky to do CS research in Chelsea Finn’s wonderful lab, including a couple of equivariance-related papers that ended up at ICLR 2021 and ICLR 2022.
Outside of work, I enjoy singing badly, history, hiking, puzzle games, scuba diving, reading Stanisław Lem, and leather-working. I’m also a member of Giving What We Can .
