Après la visite diligentée vendredi matin sur le site des anciennes papeteries de Virginal, dans l'entité d'Ittre, l'auditeur du travail du Brabant wallon a ordonné l'arrêt du chantier de démantèlement des installations, a-t-il indiqué à l'agence Belga. Des policiers et représentants de l'auditorat brabançon wallon se sont rendus vendredi matin sur le site industriel ittrois. L'action est intervenue après la publication d'un reportage par le magazine trimestriel d'investigations Médor.
Selon Médor, des travailleurs originaires d'Europe de l'Est procèdent au démontage d'installations des anciennes papeteries, dans des conditions déplorables.
