Originally the metrology laboratory of the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research. The Measurement & Calibration Centre was privatised in 1995 when purchased by employees. Owned and operated as a private enterprise since 1995, in 2007 The Measurement & Calibration Centre became a part of the Tonkin + Taylor group of companies.
