Dog PAC is an FEC-registered 527 political action committee (PAC) incorporated in the State of Kansas that is made up of a bunch of young progressives that are united in one thing: our love of dogs (especially ones named Manhole ). With that, we haven’t quite decided what we are going to do with this PAC. We may endorse candidates, we may just use a bully pulpit, we may just raise money for charity, who knows?
This all said, it was way too easy to create a federal PAC. Legit, the hardest part was getting the bank account – which took about 2 weeks. Other than that, it is just a bunch of online forms and paying filing fees to create the corporation.
