An electric unicycle is a novel form of personal transportation that uses a single wheel. They are becoming increasingly popular as people seek more eco-friendly ways to get around. They can be ridden on paved and unpaved surfaces, including sidewalks and trails.
The basic mechanism of an electric unicycle consists of a rechargeable battery, motor, gyroscopes, accelerometer and motherboard. When the rider leans forward, the gyroscopes trigger the motor to move forward and backward, while the inclination angle of the body triggers the motherboard to read that as a command to accelerate or decelerate.
