Introduction – the methods used in this article are in the main for conifers, but can be used on deciduous species. However, we have to remember the cellular structure of the two species discussed in article 93. In short deciduous are not as supple due to their Prosenchyma and Parenchyma cellular composition as opposed to the coniferous Tracheids and Parenchyma cellular structure, which is much more flexible.
