Dawn started dancing at age five and immediately loved ballet. At age eighteen, Dawn experienced two severe spinal surgeries; a year later they fractured their right hip in a car accident. Medical professionals advised against dancing. Through the tutelage of Axis Dance, Dawn reconnected to their passion of dance. In 2018, Dawn also completed a residency with Full Radius Dance.
