Welcome! My name is Melanie and I am the owner of Sun & Moon Acupuncture. I am an acupuncturist and I also have over 25 years of experience as a Registered Nurse. I am uniquely positioned to help patients integrate the health care they receive from more mainstream providers with the expertise I bring in eastern medical traditions.
Treatment plans include acupuncture as well as guidance on exercise, nutrition, meditation, stress management, and navigating the western health care system if needed.
I have 30 years of experience in health care, and I take a lot of time to listen to my patients and understand their current health challenges. I consider myself a guide as a patient navigates their way back to health, and I work in partnership with my patients to help them identify their health and wellness goals and create a path to reach those goals.
