IDAC is happy to announce a guest lecture, to be held by Max Herbers and Bertram Richter, entitled “Distributed fiber optic sensing – The future of structural health monitoring?” Mr. Herbers and Mr. Richter are members of the Institute of Concrete Structures at Dresden University of Technology. About 20 attendees have participated in the IDA-KI project meeting at IDAC. Besides project partners from academia and industry, representatives of the advisory board have participated to discuss project results and challenges in infrastructure maintenance, followed by a boat excursion to waterside infrastructure.
