STEM is Elementary was launched in 2016 by Bob Claymier. Bob felt there was a need to inform educators, parents and others interested in STEM of great resources, related articles, events, conferences and other related topics on elementary STEM and wasn’t aware of any other place they could find this information in one location.
Bob shared with me how much he enjoyed his time as an elementary STEM specialist, working with many great educators around the state and the nation. His work has been helpful in getting many teachers to understand the importance of integrating STEM into their classrooms and to give them ideas and resources on how to bring that about.
