Squads are virtual or in-person international service-learning programs with a skill-based focus that supports the health and economic development objectives of community partners abroad.

Squads are groups of passionate students that mobilize abroad for positive social change. Comprised of faculty-led student groups, Squads embark on the largest task of all: making meaningful change on a global scale. Since 2004, collectively with our parent organization, Global Brigades, we have mobilized more than 78,000 university and high school students as one of the largest empowerment initiatives to improve global health, economic, and educational outcomes in under-resourced communities.
