Solar Urbana Champaign will be returning for its eighth group buy program in the summer of 2023. Through this program, home and business owners throughout Champaign, Piatt, and Vermilion Counties can learn about solar and pool their buying power to secure significant discounts that make installing solar more affordable.
The program will be offered by the Midwest Renewable Energy Association (MREA) , the cities of Urbana , Monticello , and Champaign , the Citizens Utility Board (CUB) , Champaign County Sustainability Network (CCNet) , the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign Facilities & Services (UIUC F&S) , and Smart Energy Design Assistance Center (SEDAC) and other local partners.
