Smiling Moon Alpacas started in 2009 with two huacaya fiber geldings. It wasn’t long before we knew that more alpacas needed to come and live on the farm. We are a small farm, on 33 acres in the hills of rural Allegany County in Friendship, New York . Our first ventures into showing resulted in a 2nd place at the Northeast Alpaca Expo in the Spring of 2010 with a grey juvenile and again in 2011 with a 2nd of 12 for a brown juvenile.
