STORM TeleECHO will empower healthcare providers to develop the skills, knowledge and confidence to manage pediatric and adult patients with sickle cell disease (SCD) using evidence-based best practices.
STORM TeleECHO is replicated from Project ECHO® (Extension for Community Healthcare Outcomes), which dramatically improves capacity and access to specialty care for rural and underserved populations. This low-cost, high-impact intervention is accomplished by using web technology to link expert inter-disciplinary specialist teams with primary care clinicians through teleECHO™ clinics. Healthcare providers and their multi-disciplinary teams can virtually attend monthly, one-hour STORM TeleECHO clinics. STORM TeleECHO is currently scheduled for the 3rd Thursday of the month from 12pm – 1pm EST. To register, please click the sign-up link in the box to the right. There is no cost for providers to participate in STORM TeleECHO. TeleECHO participants will need to complete evaluations after the clinic in order to receive CME credit.
