The Museum comprises 16,000 square feet and over 15,000 artifacts used in Native American families, Oregon Trailmigration, rural households, churches, schools, businesses, livestock production, dry-land wheat farming and conservation, military units and patriotic efforts.
Over 70 of the county's 2,000 residents volunteer at the Museum. We are a unique non-profit county museum with interpretive exhibits of tools and equipment used by families in wheat andlivestock production, homes, businesses, schools and churches on the Columbia Plateau, and hands-on experiences for everyone!
