For me travel is often a means to an end (escaping the fucked up life we’re all programmed to follow) rather than a need to see certain places or countries. The wish or need to travel comes in waves, sometimes a gentle swell fixed with a short holiday or overnighter.
Sometimes the wish to escape and once again look for my kind of freedom becomes an oppressive unstoppable Tsunami that breaks everything around me that I’ve build up since the last Tsunmani (2000, 2011, 2022).
I’ve recently returned from a six month/ 7700km ride across Europe so once again have rest and calm to be part of the system again for a few years.
