Congregation Shaare Emeth is the oldest and largest Reform Jewish congregation in St. Louis. Founded in 1867, our first physical location was at 17th and Pine Streets.

Through good times and bad, our community has survived and thrived. In 1980, we opened our current building at Ladue & Ballas. In 2017, we celebrated our 150th anniversary with the successful completion of a major renovation project. Today, our community’s strength exists both within and outside of our walls. We invite you to attend a worship service, participate in a program, or meet our clergy and staff.
