Welcome to SEND ME YOUR HEAD
In January, 2009, I launched a portrait project called Send Me Your Head. My reasons for starting this project were straightforward: I needed a continuously generating source for a daily painting session. I began with an email requesting headshots from my friends. I posted my work on a blog that included a call for more photos. Within a short time, I was receiving headshots from strangers all over the world. The project lasted from January, 2009 through January, 2014. In March 2014, the paintings were inclu
