SEED was established by a group of dedicated social workers with more than 30 years of cumulative experience in managing issues of marginalised communities(such as the homeless, people leaving with or affected by HIV and Transgender persons). SEED aims to develop the skills and capacities of socially excluded to improve their quality of life.
SEED or Pertubuhan Kebajikan dan Persekitaran Positif Malaysia is the first Trans-led community-based organization in Malaysia. Officially registered in 2014, SEED was created to ensure the availability of support services for marginalised communities, especially the transgender community. SEED relies on the generous donations of the public. Our site in Chow Kit was established as a drop-in centre to further enable us to continue our services for communities in need.
