The South Carolina Law Enforcement Officers’ Association and South Carolina Police Chiefs Association are pleased to announce John “JJ” Jones as our new Executive Director. JJ will start at SCLEOA and SCPCA on May 17 th , 2021.
JJ Jones began his law enforcement career 1995. In 1997, he began a 22-year career with the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department. He worked in Warrant Services, Community Services, Narcotics Division, K-9 Unit, SWAT Team, Patrol Sergeant, Assistant Region Commander, Region Commander, Internal Affairs, and Operations Commander. His extensive knowledge of law enforcement in South Carolina, leadership experience, and an all-in attitude will benefit the members of both associations. Deputy Chief Jones is married to his wife of 19 years, Laura Rawl Jones, and they have one son, Jacob Price Jones.
