Description: The main objective of the series was to disseminate innovative policies and developments in the field of sustainable urban environment.
The SBE series was launched in 2000 and is now well-established as a leading international series of conferences focusing on sustainable built environment. The series follows a three-year cycle.
Although the SBE partners are responsible for overall management, planning and management of the individual conferences is the responsibility of the selected proponent organizations, which feature research institutes and/or universities in leading roles. SBE places a core emphasis on papers that undergo double-blind peer-review. Presentations of regional policy papers, displays of pre-evaluated projects and a small number of high-quality commercial exhibits.
The Covid-19 pandemic has created problems for all conferences, including ours, but 2021-23 is going ahead.
