Growing up he learned values of hard work and perseverance from his father who worked as a salesman and his mother who worked as a high school english teacher. Sarang attended North Providence High School where he participated in golf, basketball, football and baseball. From an early age Sarang Ahuja has had a love of music of all varieties. In 2008 Sarang heard his favorite musician, Jack Johnson, for the first time. At that moment he knew that he wanted to pursue a career in music and would stop at nothing to achieve his dream. Soon after, Sarang bought a guitar and played daily trying to replicate the chords and melodies that Jack Johnson created.
