Postdoctoral Researcher
I am a Postdoctoral Researcher in the聽 Research in Software Engineering (RiSE) 聽and Software Analysis and Intelligence (SAINTes) 聽Teams at Microsoft Research 聽in Redmond, WA, USA. 聽My research focuses on understanding the human and cognitive aspects of software engineering, with the goal of improving the design and evaluation of development tools that empower programmers on a daily basis. 聽I currently work on developing AI-assisted tools that support developers through various software engineering tasks.
In 2022, I received my Ph.D. in Computer Science from Washington State University. My dissertation identified empirical perspectives of developer productivity in practice and introduced a聽novel framework to model cognitive load during program comprehension in real-working environments through the combined use of minimally invasive brain imaging (fNIRS) and eye tracking technology.
