Situated next to a creek, this old hostel, which was built at the end of the 18th century, has been lovingly restored to its original splendour. The historic building underlines the atmosphere of this valley in picturesque Tuscany with its typically hilly landscape framed by cypress avenues and olive groves. The ideal location, nestled on the border between Siena and Grosseto, is also the ideal starting point for a wide variety of excursions. The country inn Sant'Anna is a historical building and unique in this area. The house has been used over the years as a post office, guesthouse, grocery store, private house and even bank. Older residents and long-time neighbours in the area still remember dancing events on the premises of the restaurant. The building still retains the charm of the time and was extensively restored in 2013. After the closure of the restaurant in 2020, the property is available exclusively for overnight and vacation guests.
