Discover new corners of Jaén through its literary reminiscences and revisit the landscapes of this province to know more about its links with relevant authors. This is the objective of “Literary routes through the province of Jaén”.
This project of the Provincial Council of Jaén brings together different tourist-literary proposals and gives continuity to other actions for the revaluation of this immense cultural heritage of this area, such as the magnificent Literary Atlas of the Province of Jaén of the Institute of Jaén Studies or the management of the Miguel Hernández Legacy, with a special mention to the launch of the museum of the universal poet in Quesada, an essential visit.
This province has seen the birth of prominent figures of Hispanic literature and has been home and inspiration to great names in classical literature. With this insight, “Literary routes through the province of Jaén” offers proposals to follow the footsteps of eight distinguished authors in our province in ten different locations and more than one hundred milestones with literary echoes.
