I’m a former homeschooler and lifelong nerd; I live in Seattle, WA with a mountain of books, my best friend, and the most beautiful dog in the world.

I write dark but hopeful YA fantasy inspired by myths and fairy tales: stories about gods and death and girls with knives. My first novel, Cruel Beauty, was a New York Times besteller.

When I’m not writing, I’m probably knitting or playing video games, or else hugging my beautiful, beautiful dog Lunafreya Nox Fleuret (but you can call her Luna).
