My name is Rik van Noord and I'm a Postdoc at the Computational Linguistics department at the University of Groningen. My work is part of the MaCoCu project, mostly in collaboration with Antonio Toral . Previously, I was a PhD-student and Postdoc in the Parallel Meaning Bank project. --> I'm a researcher in the field of Computational Linguistics and Natural Language Processing and obtained my PhD in the field of Computational Semantics. My expertise lies mostly in semantic parsing, machine translation and language modelling, but I have also worked on author profiling, sentiment analysis and text classification, all across multiple languages. I'm also interested in developing and evaluating resources for under-resourced European languages, as evidenced in my time working as a postdoctoral researcher in the MaCoCu project at the University of Groningen . Currently, I'm an Assistant Professor in Humane AI at the same university.
