C.P. (Chris) Allaart, M.D. is the Medical Director of Porto Medico; a registered family doctor/general practitioner (Dokter di kas / Huisarts op Curaçao). He was born in Botswana and raised in Curaçao. He studied Public Health Science in Amsterdam and Medicine in Leiden (The Netherlands) and graduated in 2013. He has postgraduate training in Internal Medicine, Ophthalmology and Psychiatry. He has working experience in Lesbos (Greece), in a refugee camp for “Dokters van de Wereld” and in the Netherlands as G
