PMLD has the opportunity to purchase non-carbon emitting energy needed to meet the State mandated 50% non-carbon emitting energy portfolio standard by the 2030 deadline. The source of the non-carbon emitting power is the existing Seabrook Nuclear Plant. The offered around-the-clock Power Purchase Agreement will start in either 2028 or 2030 (PMLD can choose the start date) and remain in place until 2050.
