PFLAG Greater St. Louis envisions an equitable, inclusive world where every LGBTQ+ person is safe, celebrated, empowered, and loved. Our mission is to create a caring, just, and affirming world for LGBTQ+ people and those who love them. Through our core values of meeting people where they are and collaborating with others, PFLAG seeks to realize our vision through support, education, and advocacy.
We are a 100% volunteer-run organization and part of the hundreds of thousands of individuals who make up the national PFLAG community in chapters across the country. We welcome anyone who wants to learn more about how to love and support their LGBTQ+ loved ones and/or how to be an ally to and advocate for the LGBTQ+ community. The Trevor Project crisis counselors are trained to answer calls, chats, or texts from LGBTQ+ young people who reach out on their free, confidential and secure 24/7 service when they are struggling with issues such as coming out, LGBTQ+ identity, depression, and suicide.
