Patrick Larkin Hill’s story begins while his father Roger Lee Hill was stationed at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base in Goldsboro, North Carolina on February 26, 1963. He was a smiling happy baby, and very good looking! He was the 4th boy and 5th child of Maxine Estelle (Stephens) Hill. She had 5 boys and 1 girl ( with cooties ) in 11 years with the 6th coming in Hampton, Virginia while stationed at Langley AFB 1966. “While out west we visited Yellowstone National Park with the Old Faithful geyser, Disneyland, San Fransicso, Death Valley, the Vegas strip, the Saint Louis, MO Archway, Hoover Dam - and we counted 1000’s of cows while driving and played the ABC game of words on billboards. We also went camping at Salt Lake City lake and Lake Tahoe. The Thunderbirds were always practicing in the skies above Nellis AFB. It was a great childhood out west. I had a great childhood.
