The seeds of PAT group were sown in the year 1997 by two socially conscious personalities of Mr. Hirudayasami and Mr. Stephen Francis Xavier by forming People’s Action for Transformation (PAT) trust on 2nd May 1997. The trust was formed to implement welfare and developmental programs for the wellbeing of the society.
In the year 2003, PAT has started it micro-lending activities with the help of fund received from Ananya Finance for Inclusive Growth Pvt. Ltd., Ahmedabad and over the years it has grown leaps and bounds and presently operating with 20 branches across 8 districts of Tamil Nadu.
