OWI-Lab stands for On -and Offshore Wind Infrastructure Application Lab. This collaboration between the wind energy experts within Sirris, VUB and UGent aim to initiate, support and execute R&D and innovation projects in the field of wind energy. Through technology expertise & infrastructure, innovation support services and international collaboration we support our Belgian wind energy sector to be worldwide industry leaders.
The OWI-Lab team aims to set-up collaborative research, development and innovation projects that lead to efficient, reliable and cost-effective wind energy. Our goal is to explore those collective RD&I needs within the industrial value chain that are of strategic importance for the future.
