Our Little Jewels supports a number of programs that offer therapeutic horseback riding for children with mental and physical disabilities. As one rider said after getting off his horse, "Daddy, now I think I know how it feels to run".
The soccer program is run through Kennedy Krieger's "Bennett Blazers Physically Challenged Sports Program". The soccer program helps children build self esteem through physical activities.
The wheelchair basketball program is part of the Bennett Blazers program. Directors, Gerry and Gwena Herman have taken the Bennett team to the national championships on several occasions. The JV team won the Championship in 2012.
