Openhack is an Open Source hackathon organized by Engineers Without Borders Sweden (EWB). The purpose is to show people interested in programming how they can help to make a difference on both a local and global level with Open Source development as a main toolkit, as well as showing aid organizations how tech volunteers can help them rethink and improve their work. The areas under focus are disaster management, information sharing, education and social development, which aligns with the purpose of EWB.
